TubeSock - download any YouTube video
YouTube is, by far, the largest online video database in existence. But the problem with YouTube and also with other similar services is the fact that videos cannot be downloaded and they can only be viewed online. This may represent a problem in case the user has a very slow Internet connection, as the video will buffer frequently. Downloading videos from YouTube would also be useful for viewing them on media devices, like mobile phones. Fortunately, there are applications which allow you to download any video from YouTube.
One of them is TubeSock. This Windows program just requires you to enter the video link from YouTube inside its interface, in order to download it. After the program has been installed and launched, the user is presented with an intuitive interface, in which he can preview any YouTube video before downloading it. In this way, one will make sure that the found video is the one he is looking for, without needing to open the Internet browser. After entering the video link, the user should choose the format in which the video should be saved.
As such, he can choose various video profiles, depending on the device that will play the video, like iPhone, PSP, Windows Media Player and so on. There is also the option of saving a video into MP3 format. There is no need to configure quality settings, as they will be automatically taken from the source video. After selecting the saving format, the user will just need to select the location where the video should be saved and then click on the Save button. Soon, the video will be created and the user will be able to watch it anytime, anywhere.

Furthermore, there are several video profiles available, depending on the device that will play the video. What's more, videos can be imported directly into iTunes after they are converted.
